What you need to apply for a Design Graduate role

You're studying a design-related subject. We try to be as broad as possible in our interpretation of 'design', since we want as diverse a spectrum of people as possible joining us on the design pathway. You do need to have a portfolio, or some equivalent body of work to show you're committed to a career in design.

While we don't restrict you based on what university you're at, getting a 2.1 or better is a requirement if you get an offer from us.

Show us things that demonstrate you're the sort of interested, interesting, creative and curious person that we're looking for in our next generation of designers.

Once you've decided to apply, you'll go through to the main Deloitte graduate recruitment process. This consists of 5 stages:

ONLINE
1 - Submit your application form
2 - Basic English / Maths tests (don't stress about these!)
3 - Interactive job simulation exercise
4 - Design Portfolio review (this is only for Visual Design applicants. For everyone else, we want to see some body of work that proves you're passionate about design. This can be a portfolio, but isn't limited to that.)

IRL
This is the 5th and final stage where you will be invited to our offices for your assessment. You will be asked to:
- Meet a senior design team member for an interview
- Participate in a group exercise to show you can collaborate well in a team
- Undergo a design exercise where you can show off your skills in either UX, Visual Design, Research and Content (depending on where you applied) On the day, we'll try to bring you to our Studio - and if you're lucky, Waz will give you the tour!
